Love is the power podcast

75. Getting something for nothing

Episode Notes

Today, our conversation launches from the premise that the central banking system reflects the human tendency to want to "get something for nothing." But whether we're talking about an economic, political, or cultural apparatus, it's likely that we've all noticed or experienced some form of inequity. What we may not have recognized, though, is that everyone has the potential to liberate themselves from unfair, unjust systems. (For example, Tom posits that crypto is indicative of the truth that we can be free in a corrupt financial system.) Moreover, it could be that we are just as, if not more, efficient in acting to address inequity from a peaceful place rather than an outraged or offended one. This is because, as long as we're battling for or against anything, we are believing that war works and peace doesn't. Perhaps all of the control and violence on this earth is a real push for us to go all the way to find unconditional peace and positivity.
